Ikechukwu Anoke

Ikechukwu Anoke is the founder and group CEO of Play Group Ltd, which is a holding company for Play Communications Limited, Taurus Events and taurus Musik. Play Communications Limited is a leading Pan African infotainment and Tech Company, delivering world class solutions for mobile subscribers in Africa and middle East, Taurus Events is live events and experiential marketing company, and Taurus musik is an indigenous pan African record label.

Ikechukwu is credited for leading the initiatives that grew the popularity of Nigerian music and comedy in East Africa through initiatives like Naija Night, Night of a thousand laughs etc.

He is a recipient of the High Commissioner’s award of excellence in 2010 for his relentless promotion of nigerian culture through music and comedy. Ikechukwu holds a Bachelors of science specialising in Political Science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. He is the husband to Dr Borna Anoke Clinical Trial Manager at Drugs for Neglected diseases initiative (DNDI) and a father to two daughters, Zuri and Zara Anoke.

He is an avid football fan that sees him playing football as a hobby every weekend.
